Installation
Step 1: Upload Plugin
- Download the plugin ZIP file from CodeCanyon
- Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin after installation completes
Step 2: Activate License
- Navigate to AI Assistant → Settings → License
- Enter your Envato purchase code
- Click Activate License
- Wait for confirmation message

Step 3: Configure API Keys
Go to AI Assistant → Settings and add your API keys from your preferred AI providers. See API Keys Setup below for detailed instructions.
API Keys Setup
AI Assistant Pro works with your own API keys, giving you full control over costs and usage. You only pay for what you use directly to the AI provider.
OpenAI (GPT-4, GPT-3.5, DALL-E)
- Visit platform.openai.com
- Create an account or sign in
- Go to API Keys section
- Click Create new secret key
- Copy the key and paste it in AI Assistant → Settings → OpenAI API Key
Pricing: Pay-as-you-go. GPT-4 starts at $0.03/1K tokens. GPT-3.5 Turbo from $0.0015/1K tokens.
Anthropic Claude
- Visit console.anthropic.com
- Sign up for an account
- Navigate to API Keys
- Generate a new API key
- Add it to AI Assistant → Settings → Claude API Key
Google Gemini
- Go to Google AI Studio
- Sign in with your Google account
- Click Get API Key
- Copy and add to AI Assistant → Settings → Gemini API Key
Ollama (Local/Free)
- Download Ollama from ollama.ai
- Install and run Ollama on your server
- Pull a model:
ollama pull llama2 - In plugin settings, set Ollama URL (usually

- Verify your API keys are correct in AI Assistant → Settings
- Check that your API provider account has sufficient credits
- Test connection using the "Test Connection" button
- Review error logs at AI Assistant → Usage Logs
- Ensure your server can make outbound HTTPS requests
